Whilst other parts of the UK have been badly battered by fierce storms, here in Sheffield we have remained relatively unscathed. I did wonder if it work it’s way up the country but, with the exception of a few patches of heavy rain, it has been calm and very sunny. Autumn sunshine has a nasty habit of showing up dust (well in my house, probably not in yours!) and I’m not thrilled by the extra Halloween décor, in the form of real cobwebs, that the sun has put in the spotlight!
Coincidently, the new inspiration word over at Every Inchie Monday is “thunderstorm.” Here are my inchies for this week:
My first thought was the three witches in Macbeth although this inchie is my least favourite as the image is not all that clear. I used distress inks for the backgrounds of my inchies, masking out the moon areas to keep them yellow. The lightning is white gel pen.
The witches were an image that I found on the internet that I reduced in size. I added a tiny bit of glitter to parts of their hats.
The other two images are ones that I stamped and then reduced on the photocopier until they were the right size.
If you are a maker of inchies or other small things I am hosting the new mini-challenge over at Anything But A Card and I’d love you to come and join in if you can.
Thanks for buzzing by.
