Privacy is the new theme over at Every Inchie Monday this week. Here’s my little set:

P1080803

I’ve used some fabulous images of doors from The Gecko Galzย and shrunk them down to size. I’ve used some of my Kate Crane papers as the background and then added in some images of signs.

I’m also sharing another little Christmas tree collage that is very similar to the one I shared on Saturday.

P1080806

P1080808 P1080807 P1080806

This was made in exactly the same way using Kate Crane’s papers and Darkroom Door Stitched Christmas tree stamps. This time I used more of Kate’s papers as the background and white paint to create the blobs of snow plus some faux stamped stitching around the edge.

Thanks for buzzing by.

  1. Nothing says ‘Keep Out’ quite like a large heavy door. As always, a fabulous set of inches, you really are the Queen of the Inchies.

I am loving all of the Christmas Tree designs.

  2. Love these and the Christmas card too. I did not know there was such a thing as faux stamped stitches, love it! ~Diane

    • Thank you Diane. I have a whole set of border faux stitches which is great. Would love to do the real thing but …..!!!!

  3. I love the inchies. A great take on the theme! Where we live people spray paint purple on anything which means private property, stay out! Your inchies reminded me about that. great job and I love the Christmas collage. It reminds me that I need to get all my to-do projects done before I have to start working on Christmas ornaments! Have a great day

    • Thank you. Wow – never come across the spray paint thing before, but purple is a great colour! Can’t wait to see your ornaments ๐Ÿ™‚

  4. Lisette, all of your Inchies are sooooo precious!! I love doors! I actually have a board on pinterest about doors! They can be so mysterious and so beautiful!! You did an awesome job on them and the backgrounds of each one!! Beautiful! :0) Share Humanity

    • Thank you. When I was teaching I often used to use doors as a starting point for writing. I will check out your board ๐Ÿ™‚

  5. Your privacy doors are fabulous. I like the one with the yellowish background the best. The style of your Christmas tree collage really appeals to me. – what size is it?

  6. Fabulous doors Lisette and love those signs! I just thought about the look in the eye of the people here, when we don’t speak the same language they have that “private keep out” plus “do not trespass” look!

    • I think I sometimes channel that look too!!! Facial expressions would have been a fabulous take for this challenge, love your thinking.

I really appreciate it when people take time to leave a comment, thank you so much for doing so :)
