Maroon Five plus two

This week’s theme at Every Inchie Monday is maroon. I decided to go with the colour rather than the flare (as in distress flare, not seventies apparel) or stranded on a desert island, both of which were thoughts that came to mind.P1080609

I happened to have some maroon card so used that for the base of my inchies, teaming it with white, in the form of spots and dots, and pink card.

My second set were based on sari patterns and fabrics. I’ve used the same maroon card and this time used gold ink and heat embossed the stamping.

Now no post about Maroon can go without mention of the devine Adam Levine from Maroon Five so, as he is featuring in the newly released film Begin Again, and because I can here he is!

Aahh, Happy Monday!

Thanks for buzzing by.

  1. Shall I say it “hmm very good looking maroon cards…”, yeah seriously I loved the ones with the with dots, the white makes them fresh, the sari style is a bit more classic but also beautiful!

  2. I look forward to Monday’s and your inchies – I am never disappointed and today you have also been educational because I did not know anything about Maroon Five before.

Two beautiful sets of maroon inchies, such pretty designs. So hard to choose between the two sets but I think the first set are my favourite.

    Happy Monday.

    • You would probably recognise their songs – they often in the background on TV programmes. I learned that maroon comes from the French marron – chestnut! xx
