Lucky Tag

Today  I am sharing a tag that I shall be linking up with Really Reasonable Ribbon’s “Show me the green and ribbon” challenge.

I used some paper from the It’s Not Easy Being Green collection by the Gecko Galz for the base and ran a border of shamrocks, using an image from The Graphics Fairy, down the side and a strip of music manuscript along the bottom.

Along the bottom of the tag is a strip of ivory crochet lace and I’ve studded it with some green gems from my stash.

The lucky bingo card is from BW Scrapbooking and I’ve edged it with gold glitter glue. I’ve also added some dots of glue to the top and bottom of the tag.

The cute little boy image is from the Gecko Galz.

I made the lucky clover by die cutting four hearts, gluing them together and topping it off with a green sweetheart blossom.

I’ve coloured white seam binding with Shabby Shutters distress stain and used it to thread the tag and also to create a double bow. Both have been topped with some thin emerald green ribbon.

More sweetheart blossoms,a paper rose and a green star shaped gem complete the look.

Thanks for buzzing by.

  1. Are you thinking of playing the Lotto this week? I think you have included virtually every good luck symbol in your project so this might be a good week to risk £2!

I love that you have also found room to include lots of glitter and bling, great tag.
