Now there is being late with a post and there is being late with a post and this is ..er.. being so late with a post it’s almost rude. I was so tired after my four very long days away in Leeds that I would need an extra baggage allowance for my eyes if I was flying on a ‘plane! However, I really wanted to join in with this week’s Sunday Stampers’ challenge I summoned up just enough energy to create another little house:
The theme at Sunday Stampers this week is stars and as you can see I’ve used some starry paper for the roof of the house and a little stamped star to twinkle along with the moon (Stampotique).
The little witch is Stampotique’s Corie and I stamped her directly on to the paper that covers the house and then paper pieced her face.
The words are from a collage sheet by Lisa’s Altered Art over on Etsy.
It would seem youngest son’s move went well and he is happily settled into his new flat. I haven’t been brave enough to go in his empty room yet! He is clearly enjoying his new found independence including the big pile of washing he left behind because apparently I know how to do his designer t-shirts properly and asking his dad to take him to work over the weekend because there isn’t a bus!!!!
Thanks for buzzing by.
Lisette, it is wonderful, the idea of witchy and monochrome, it is the perfect coupling. And of course Stampotique what else can it be π
Thank you – she is just so cute isn’t she?
π
I love your witch, she is so darned cute with her hat and wild outfit. The moon and star is adorable with other star also. You were able to create altho you’re exhausted, you deserve a big star girl. The little house with cute trim looks wonderful.
Glad things went well with son’s move. You didn’t tell him they need to learn how to do their own laundry? That’s what being a grown up and living in one’s own flat means. lol
Hope you get to rest well this weekend. Happy fall
Thank you – she is just the cutest isn’t she? Trust me, this is the last lot of laundry!!!!!
Gorgeous! The little witch looks amazing!
Thank you Kirsty π
Love, love, love it!!! Everything goes together beautifully, and that starry roof is awesome!
I’m sorry you’re so worn out, but at least it’s over. Hopefully, you can stay put for awhile. xxo
Thank you. I am now firmly in the Halloween groove (hurraH!) and have a little less pressure from work for the next few weeks (double hurrah!). How are you doing? π
Ow, she is so sweet, your little scribble witch stamp is just too cute. I love how you have made the little house hang off the moon.
Your little boy may have moved out of the family home but I don’t think he has left the concierge service that goes with it. He he!

PS If you lived in Australia, would your post be early?
Thank you. Originally I had a complicated thing going for the moon using acetate – this was the easier option!! I love playing with the time zone – hee hee!!
This is gorgeous!! I love that witch!
Thank you – she is just so cute isn’t she?!
As ever hun, you have created a gorgeous il’il housey – I LOVE that starry papers muchly and the ickle witchy is just so cute! I want to see a piccie of all your houses together… like a village, you could call it Little Buzzington perhaps? *wanders off in search of medication lol* Thanks for joining in with the Sunday Stamper x
Thank you – now my youngest has moved out I have a space that would be ideal for little houses!!!
This is so cute! I love the sweet lil’ witch and her cozy house!
Hope all is going well with the empty room! It seems to happen all too quickly!
Thank you. I can still get teary eyed at a moment’s notice!
