As if Monday doesn’t come around quickly enough as it is, this week it seems to have been super quick due in part, I think, to the clock change. At least it is only a four day week with a long weekend to look forward to. However, for me, those four days are going to be jam packed. So in the calm before the storm I’m happy to share a tag I have made for the new Crafty Boots challenge which has Easter as its theme.
I’ve used papers and images from My Artistic Adventures choosing those that had my favourite Easter colours – yellow and purple. There’s a little spring green in there too as we should always have some green on our plate!
The little bunny comes from a great collage sheet that has loads of vintage images on pretty egg shapes. I’ve added a little glitter to the eggs, which are dead ringers for my favourite Cadbury’s mini eggs, and are from the Vintage Easter Tickets sheet. I’ve layered the images onto a purple tag and a golden yellow tag with a piece of paper from Vintage Spring Greens.
I’ve added a cascade of purple and yellow flowers which remind me of the fantastically decorated Easter eggs we use to have when I was little and continue to be made and sold at my favourite bakery, Betty’s.
A purple button and some yellow gingham ribbon complete the look! Be sure to buzz over to Crafty Boots Challenges and see what the rest of the DT have created and if you are making a little Easter something, we hope you’ll share your work with us.
Thanks for buzzing by.
