So it finally happened – we got snow πŸ™‚ Not masses and it doesn’t look like it will last very long but after weeks of warmth and endless rain it is good to feel a little bit wintery. In contrast, the project I am sharing today has a spring like feel to it.

I created this tag for the Stampotique Designers’ ChallengeΒ  #227 where Arwen has asked us to use colour blobs! First I inked the base of the tag with Squeezed Lemonade, Picked Raspberry, Shaded Lilac and Twisted Citron distress inks. Next, I added more colour, to create blobs, through a stencil. I used black and white pens to highlight the blobs. I created some extra blobs by punching out circles from some inked paper, applying them to the base and then highlighting them with pens as before.

I stamped Agatha Flower on to the base and then separately on to card so I could paper piece her. I created some extra flowers by stamping and fussy cutting them.

I’m also sharing my tag over at Sunday Stampers where the theme is to make something pretty.

I can’t quite decide whether to go out in the snow or not. I’m lacking in some sensible snow footwear at the moment having chucked my leaking willies out just before Christmas. Maybe I’ll just sit and admire it from the window, whilst drinking a Bailey’s laced hot chocolate of course πŸ™‚

Thanks for buzzing by.

  1. Oh wow, what a happy, colourful tag. I love the stamped image and the fabulous daisy …. not to mention those colourful bubbles.

Your colouring looks amazing by the way.
