I was very sorry when I realised that my entry for last week’s Sunday Stampers challenge hadn’t linked up properly. It was whilst I was away in Grimsby where I was using a mobile internet connection, not to mention being a teeny bit stressed, so that was probably the cause. Anyway, never mind, new week and Hels has given us a new challenge which is “something pretty.” I hope my card lives up to that brief!
I’ve used lots of the lovely new papers from the Gecko Galz Wild Roses paper pack. I just love the “wild roses” design – you can almost smell the flowers. I edged all the papers with Vintage Photo and then layered them up with cream card, tucking in some little paper doillys. I punched out two circles, one from cream card and one from “splendor” paper, using a scallop punch, then stamped a bee in the centre. I added colour with a Promarker and then went wild with self-adhesive pearls.
The circles were edged with Vintage Photo and then mounted on 3D foam.
I stamped out the sentiment, again using the splendor paper and vintage photo, and added a couple more pearls.
Then it was simply a question of heaping on more embellishments – pretty pink buttons, an ivory bow, a cream rosebud and some little punched butterflies with pearl centres.
So now I’m off to link this up over at Sunday Stampers - this time making sure that it does actually do so!
Psst – Hels – this is what I did last week!

Your card is so gorgeous. Love all the little pearls all over with the butterflies, just everything. I think I have a bee stamp somewhere. Hope it’s not too big. I’m really into bees lately, thinking spring and summer I guess. Love your blog and the gorgeous cards you make every time.
Happy March
Lovely to hear from you and thank you for your kind comments. Hope you’re well. I can’t help stamping bees!!
Lovely!
loving that card design, so different and unique… Thanks for joining in with the Sunday Stamper x
