Having said yesterday that at some point in the future I would be playing with the black/grey/white and a splash of colour that is the theme for this week’s City Crafter Challenge blog, you’ll gather from the title of today’s post that this has happened rather sooner than I anticipated!

You will see I have used the same stamp as in yesterday’s post, but this time stamped it on to white tags and only used part of the image.

P1070279

In addition to the flower stamp I’ve also used some of the Darkroom Door String Sentiments.

P1070277The butterflies are also from the same Darkroom Door set, on some I have used my tiniest bee stamp.

P1070278

I’ve coloured the leaves with a grey Promarker. The flowers and butterfly or bee have been coloured with a different colour.

P1070276

I’ve mounted the tags on to black card.

P1070275

I’ve made matching ribbon by using the Promarkers to colour some white seam binding.

If you haven’t done so already, buzz over to City Crafter Challenge Blog and take a look at the wonderful DT samples and entries.

Thanks for buzzing by.

  1. Such a useful set of stamps when teamed with your tallents. Your tags are really lovely, I love the variations and the way you have mounted them on darker card.

  2. I really, really like these tags! I love the color combos and the partial stamping technique. Awesome work and very inspiring–thanks for sharing!

    • Thank you – but you should see some of the inchies by the other players. Amazing little mini chocolates that look good enough to eat.

I really appreciate it when people take time to leave a comment, thank you so much for doing so :)
