Nina in Pink

Hurray for the weekend! Another busy week that has kept me from creating, although I did get to cut red gingham ribbon into 150 60cm lengths (don’t ask)!! After next week, I think there is a bit of light at the end of the tunnel but I have a feeling I have said that before 🙂 Anyway, I thought this morning that I would share a little tag sized project that I created with the Crafty Boots pink challenge in mind:

Short on time, I used a background that I bought from the super-talented Kate Crane’s Etsy shop. Sadly, the sheets are no longer available as they are great for whipping up a project at speed.

Have you seen this adorable little watering can created by Magda Polakow for Stampotique? I am absolutely hopeless at watering plants and flowers but am certain I would fare a lot better with a watering can like this! You will be familiar with little Nina, another of Magda’s fabulous Stampotique stamps.

The sunflower, also by Stampotique, was stamped and paper pieced. The words are Tim Holtz Chit-Chat stickers.

There’s still time to enter the Crafty Boots challenge and if you buzz by again on Monday you can find out what the new challenge is:)

Have a great weekend and thanks for buzzing by.

  1. Hooray for Nina, sunflowers and weekends (not necessarily in that order). Gorgeous tag, I love the little watering can with the bee and my favourite sunflower stamp. Little Nina looks a real treat too.
