Late summer days

We have been experiencing some amazing Indian summer days here in the UK. Although you can see Autumn sneaking in here and there, and the nights are definitely drawing in, it doesn’t seem possible that we are almost in October.

This late burst of summer sun gives me the chance to share some equally summery twinchies:

I am sharing these over at the Twinchies Challenge Blog for their Anything goes challenge. Each one has a similar, but different background – blue acrylic paint, some green scraps of muslin, music manuscript and pink sweetheart blossoms.

Naturally, there is a bee and some appropriate words. I stamped the bees directly onto the twinchies and then again onto paper. The paper bee has been coloured and then applied over the stamped image, leaving the wings to stand free.

Today I am off to Hull, a place I visit far too often for work but today it is purely for pleasure. Well possibly. I am going to see my beloved football team, West Ham United, in action. Last time we went to this fixture it ended disappointingly and at the moment our form is mixed to say the least. Fingers crossed there is a happy ending. Thanks for buzzing by.
