Birdie twinchies

Over at Crafty Boots Challenges we are asking you to share your Fair and Square projects. I rustled up a couple of little twinchies which fit the bill perfectly:

I got these adorable twinchie sized artist canvases from Ebay and they are properly labelled on the back and everything. I’ve used the cutest little bird stamp from Rubber Moon to create these same but different twinchies which are very much Fair and Square. I’ve used Dylusions paint for the background and paper pieced the little bird having first coloured it with Polychromos.

For the pink one I’ve used some stamps from my collection plus a little bit of doodling for the background.

The aqua one uses a leafy border from Prima.

I also need to share the totally amazing and fabulous card that my friend, and Crafty Boots teamie, Dionne made for my birthday on Saturday.

I told you it was amazing! I just love every bit of it and am trying to work out a way I can display it permanently.

Thanks for buzzing by.

  1. Oh my goodness that bee card is so adorable for your b/d. How nice of your friend to make that for you, hope your b/d was better than ever. Love those little bee charms, would be so cute on a bracelet also. So cute she had a bee stamp, made your card so much more meaningful.
Now your little bird twinchies, love them to pieces, the different embellishments on the one with colors you used then other one, you always have so many cute ideas how to do things.
Our grand daughter is at college now, they were going to put all her things in the room yesterday. Hope it worked out well. Imagine it was quite difficult for them to leave her there. They’re going to see some aquarium in San Francisco then go down to Monterey to see some of son in law’s old friends for couple days then head home. We’re dog sitting their adorable beagle. I’d take him in a heart beat, he’s such a cutie and so good. We’re his doggy grand parents, he seems to be quite content with us. Our dog and him love to wrestle in our living room., they get a bit carried away.
Lisette I just got the card you mailed for my grand daughter. .Can hardly wait to send it to her. She will so love it. THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH. That was sweetest thing anybody has done for me in long time. Bless your heart. Can’t tell you how much it means to me. You sure got that in mail in hurry. Now I need to send you something, hmmm, let see. Hope to surprise you also soon. I’m terrible about getting things out in mail but will try to change that for you.
Enjoy rest of week ok? Happy upcoming weekend also.

Love these twinchies! The little bird is adorable, and I really like your vines with the white AND black dots. They make a lovely accent without being too much.
    Enjoy your weekend! xox
