Craft packages ordered =0, craft packages received =0

I haven’t had too much of an opportunity to tell you about the craft show at Harrogate last weekend. You can probably guess that I came home with several craft packages and also bagged myself some bargains. There were lots of well known faces doing demonstrations. It was a great show and I shall certainly go again – you should too.

Sadly, one well known face that was missing was Hels Sheridan, she of Sunday Stampers amongst other things, but I guess you can’t have everything. The theme at Sunday Stampers this week is “Wish.” Here’s what I made:

This is a little MDF ATC. I used one of my new toys, purchased from the Harrogate show, an ink duster from Inkylicious, to apply various shades of distress ink. If you haven’t seen an ink duster, it is a double ended, chubby, stubby, brush that you apply ink with. Fabulous to use.

I used a crackly stamp and black Archival ink on top and then stamped the moon, using a Stampotique stamp. To make the moon and star stand out I also stamped the image onto cream card, cut it out and then stuck it over the original image.

Finally, I stamped the word “wish.” The final touch was to add some platinum Stickles glitter – another of my Harrogate purchases.

As you read this I shall be returning from two days in Harrogate. This time, as I am there for work, I shan’t be clutching a bag of crafting goodies, but you can be fairly sure there will be a bag of macaroons and possibly a Florentine too!

Thanks for buzzing by.

  1. Oww, I love am ATC and this is a brilliant one. I love the moon image and the crackle effect. I also sounds to me that I really need a ink duster.
