Tea for two

So there were flurries of snow yesterday but not quite enough for my liking. I almost made 10,000 steps but not quite. I’m wondering if there is a connection!!!

For those of you who are fed up with stormy grey skies I have a burst of colour for you today with a postcard that I have made for the current Stampotique Designer’s Challenge (#229) – Two Much Fun:

Yes, my favourite pairing are back! If you love this little couple as much as I do, and haven’t done so already, check out their adventures in my 12 Days of Christmas series.

I’ve used a rainbow of Distress Inks, together with a selection of my favourite stamps and stencils,  to create the background. Agatha’s Cup is actually three dimensional with the parrot perched on the edge and Agatha herself tucked inside.

I used Polychromos to colour the stamped images.

Hope you have a lovely relaxing Sunday and if it snows heavily, you’ll know I made 10,000 steps 🙂

Thanks for buzzing by.

  1. That is the first time I have ever thought of Tea for Two being a paddling pool! I am thrilled to see Agatha and her parrot back, I think they are the perfect couple and their antics never cease to make me smile, I wonder how many more well known phrases you can ‘spin’ for them – how about Stand and Deliver or Pulling the Plug? Or you could do a series of nursery rhymes,

We want more Agatha and the parrot – does the parrot have a name?

  2. It did snow heavily here for few minutes but then stopped, has been off and on, heavy and light. Supposed to snow really hard tomorrow but we often get missed as we’re on edge of mountains and it goes right around us as the rain does in summer. Whatever, no biggie.
Some day I will actually get box sent to you, keep finding things I want to include. Not often I get to send things to very special friend in England.
I do love Agatha and that adorable blue bird. Such a catchy couple. Makes me want to get the Agatha stamp. You’ll have to tell me where to send for it. Think I’ll use her alot, be kind of like my signature person.
Lately we haven’t been watching much tv at night (or day) on weekends. Not much to choose from without satellite or cable. But that’s ok cause then I get other things done like paying some bills finally. And maybe some physical therapy exercises too.
Have wonderful week dear Lisette. Happy daze

    • The snow never came on Sunday but I didn’t make 10,000 steps either! We have another storm – this time it’s Henry which is the name of my youngest nephew 🙂

  3. I loved this, congrats on being one of the two random draws to win one of the Stampotique gift certificates this month.
