Five Sundays this month means a mini-challenge over at Anything But A Card and of course, in keeping with tradition, the theme is five. Now with my current obsession, there was only one way this could go with my DT piece wasn’t there?
Yep, you guessed correctly. However, this time not one but a whole street of houses. Having cut the houses from chipboard using my Sizzix Artful Dwellings die I covered them with plain white cardstock. I used Antique Linen and a teeny bit of frayed burlap to colour the body of the house and then used a rainbow of colours for the rooves.
I’ve used a dictionary stamp and some dots with Walnut Stain distress ink to stamp on the body of the houses. Each roof has been stamped using black ink and my Dylusions border stamp.
The flowers were stamped, cut out and then inked to match the rooves.
Just to remind you that Anything But A Card challenges has a Design Team call out right now. If you love to create and share your creations with others and you love to create projects that are ANYTHING BUT CARDS then get in touch as we’d love to hear from you. The DT is supportive, friendly and truly international and I’d highly recommend it. Buzz on over to the ABAC challenge blog to find out how you can join the team 🙂
Thanks for buzzing by.
