Starting 2015 – Twelve Houses of Christmas #7

Happy New Year! I hope you had a good evening. Did you make any resolutions? After last year’s epic fail in keeping most of mine (remember the “no new crafting supplies” one!!) I’ve kept mine very low key this time. I vaguely remember being badgered by eldest son who was writing them down so he could police the keeping of them! This morning, most of the snow has disappeared – seems there has been some rain overnight to wash it all away. However, “Bee Movie” is showing on TV this morning so I am taking that as a good omen!

Here’s house number 7:

Enjoy the first day of the new year and thanks for buzzing by.

    • Thank you – I take no credit, these are all papers from Blonde Moments which the great Dyan Reaveley is responsible for. I’ve been hoarding these papers for about two years so time to use them I feel. Hope 2015 is full of happiness for you and I look forward to all your wonderful work 🙂 x

  1. Another great house; love the plaid! Happy New Year!!
By the way, lots of women over here take part in Christmas cookie swaps, which is why the many batches of cookies. It’s a tradition in many households, but I’ve always thought it was way too much work, so I just bake for friends and family and keep the recipes simple.

    • Aah – that makes sense. I have a good appetite, especially when it comes to cakes and cookies but 300 did seem a lot!!! 🙂

  2. Happy New Year!

I cannot believe it is a whole year since you vowed to give up buying craft supplies. I think you did very well, you held out for ages.

Another really lovely little house, you re doing so well.

    Dionne xx

    • Happy New Year to you too, hope it was a good one. I did well to start with but I sort of think I over compensated, especially towards the end of the year. I think this year’s resolution has to be all about getting the Christmas cards done early!!! xx

I really appreciate it when people take time to leave a comment, thank you so much for doing so :)
