Well I did it! I managed to drive the van all by myself. I did not enjoy it at all, not one bit and was hugely relieved to arrive safely at my destination. I am even more relieved that Mr Beez is going to bail me out (again!!) by driving it back for me. Don’t really want to push my luck and quite honestly I don’t think my nerves could take it

Talking of luck, this is the theme of the current Anything But A Card challenge. Here’s what I’ve come up with:

It was very difficult to photograph the whole thing and is in fact a little paper four leaf clover inside a jar. I started by making the four leaf clover using some double sided green paper from the Stampin’Up subtles range. I cut eight little heart shapes and layred them up in pairs before gluing them together. I added a little green gem in the centre and then gave it a coating of clear glitter for added magical sparkle!

I added a little green button to the reverse side.

I popped some green moss into the base of the jar, sprinkled on some silver glitter and then secured the clover to the base.

I used my Stampin’ Up! scallop circle punch and some more green paper to cover the top of the lid, wrapped some lace around the edge and popped a lace bow and a green star on top.

I’ve added some buttons around the edge and a little “wish” label, which I stamped onto cream card using the Stampin’ Up! Simply Serif stamp set which is a really cute set of individual letters.

I tried my best with the photo’s, honest! I was very pleased with how this turned out, but also realised that I need to get a heart punch. Cutting out those tiny hearts by hand was very fiddly!

I didn’t take this lucky clover with me on my driving ordeal today, but I did thank the luck that got me through it – especially when I had a little diversion due to being in the wrong lane at a roundabout near Meadowhall!!!
