Going round in circles

Good Morning! Having felt like I have spent a lot of time going round in circles this week, there’s a slight irony that this week’s challenge over at the Stampotique Designers’ Challenge Blog has the theme of circles. Set by the very talented Kristen, it is a theme that has inspired some amazing work from both the DT and those who are playing along. I changed my mind about which project to share for this challenge so I hope you like the one I went with in the end!

I saw the idea for this background over on Pinterest (where else!) and you can read about it here. Having created a background for a card very similar to what you see here,  I decided it would also the kind of place a unicorn would be very much at home in! Not only that, as if I needed any more persuasion, it would also enable me to use up my scraps of paper.  So I made another, using a postcard as the base. The pretty papers are all from the Gecko Galz  Spring Awakening pack. I simply cut out strips using my paper trimmer and punched out circles of different sizes.

I added a bit of colour to Magda’s lovely unicorn using Polychromos.

I added a bit of additional stamping around the edge and the appropriate words.

Hope you are having a lovely weekend and thanks for buzzing by.
